Ingredients

  • 200 grams all-purpose flour
  • 100 grams ground hazelnuts
  • 100 grams unsalted butter, softened
  • 100 grams powdered sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 200 grams dark chocolate, melted
  • 50 grams crushed nuts for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, ground hazelnuts, softened butter, powdered sugar, vanilla bean seeds, egg yolk, and salt until a dough forms.
  3. Shape the dough into small rings and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  5. Let cool on a wire rack.
  6. Dip the cooled rings in melted chocolate and sprinkle with crushed nuts.
  7. Allow the chocolate to set before serving.
