- 200 grams Lebkuchen cookies
- 100 grams butter
- 300 grams dark chocolate
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 400 milliliters heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 pinch salt
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Crush the Lebkuchen cookies and mix with melted butter.
- Press the mixture into a tart pan to form the base.
- Melt the dark chocolate and let it cool slightly.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with vanilla extract and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually fold in the melted chocolate.
- Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form and fold into the chocolate mixture.
- Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
