Deliciously spooky cookies perfect for Halloween.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Halloween candy (M&M’s, candy corn, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips and Halloween candy.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden.
  9. Let cool on sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For extra spooky cookies, use green and orange candies.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
